With a rich history dating back to the days of fur trading and the gold rush, Whitecourt has long been at the center of Alberta's development. Today, that tradition continues, as the town is booming with the development of the oil-and-gas and forestry industries.

Located approximately 180 kilometers (112 miles) west of the provincial capital, Edmonton, this quiet community has plenty to keep you busy.
